NYX Butter Gloss Review & Swatches

Today we are going to talk about my favourite lip glosses on the market, the NYX butter gloss. I only own 11 shades out of the 22 available but i'm definitely looking to collect all of them.

Packaging wise it is pretty standard, plastic with a doe foot applicator and a stopper which removes excess product on the wand. The tube is 9cm so it doesn't take up too much space in your bag for touching up, and you get 8ml of product.

These glosses are extremely creamy, pigmented and last a good amount of time on the lips without being sticky like most lip glosses. You can wear them on their own or over lipsticks. I usually wear mine over lipsticks to lighten/darken them since I have pretty pigmented lips. Not only do these glosses look and feel great, they even smell incredible! It smells like vanilla cake and I always end up taking my time to apply them just so I can get a whiff of it for that extra 5 seconds.

Swatches (In order of appearance):
Out of all the shades I own, I would say my favourites are BLG14 Madeleine, BLG07 Tiramisu, BLG15 Angel Food Cake and BLG20 Red Velvet. If i could only choose one lip gloss formula for the rest of my life, it would definitely be this.

These retail for $10 at Sephora Singapore but they don't carry the full range of colours so you may want to check out Carousell as well.
